The city center location was excellent and convenient. The check-in process was smooth, with friendly and helpful staff. The cleanliness of the room, kitchen, and bathroom was satisfactory. The room had ample storage space. a pleasant stay with no noise disturbances during the festival period.

The location of the hostel is very convenient, being in the city center and close to the Royal Mile. the hostel also offers secure single rooms with kitchen and bathroom facilities, which is a great advantage for budget travelers. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with comfy beds and clean bedding.
Some of the bathrooms had maintenance issues, such as toilets not flushing properly and one bathroom not locking.

As young holiday goers, we absolutely loved the central location of the hotel. It couldn't have been more convenient for visiting the Fringe Festival. Being in such close proximity to the main venues was a major highlight for us.
We felt incredibly fortunate to have stumbled upon this hidden gem. There really was nothing to complain about.

No elevator for those with heavy luggage.

The location of Metro is perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to the train station and central Edinburgh. The staff at the hostel were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The free Wi-Fi provided exceeded my expectations and made it easy to stay connected. I had a pleasant experience at Metro and would recommend it to others.

I had an incredible stay at a hostel in the heart of the action. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. Despite being surrounded by the hustle and bustle, the hostel provided a peaceful escape when needed. The room I stayed in was clean and spacious, with all the necessary amenities. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. The shower had plenty of hot water and the bed was comfortable. I had a great experience at Metro Youth and would definitely recommend it. I would highly recommend this hostel for its central location, friendly staff, and great value for money.
